Rodan+Fields Lash Boost Review and GIVEAWAY

Hi everyone!
Happy Monday!
If you follow me on Instagram, a few weeks ago, I stated in my stories that I was going to be reviewing the Rodan+Fields Lash Boost and a lot of you messaged me that you had been wanting to try it or you know someone who sells it and have been going back and forth about trying it.
I do want to start by saying that I do not sell Rodan +Fields. Allie David, an Independent Consultant, was kind enough to send me this product in exchange for an honest review.  And an honest review is exactly what you are going to get.  I think there will be no denying whether or not this product works by seeing my before and afters.
Allie was also kind enough to have a giveaway for you all, so make sure you stay tuned for the details on how to enter!

So, let's first rewind many many moons ago.  Before I became a stay at home mom, I worked as a nurse.  Early in my career, I worked for a plastic surgeon and was introduced to Latisse when it first came out. I was immediately hooked.  I've always had very short, very light lashes.  I've always wanted to try lash extensions but I'm the type that if anything comes close to my eyes, they start spazzing out and I start blinking like crazy.  I even tried to get a lash perm before and it was hell, haha!  My eyes would not stop twitching.  And false lashes have never been my thing either because, well, the eye twitching issue....
So when I tried Latisse and saw results after several weeks, I was obsessed.  The thing I did not like about Latisse though was that it left purplish, bluish darkening where I applied it on my eyelids and under my eyes as well making it look like I had the worst dark circles you had ever seen.  But hey, my lashes looked amazing!
I stopped using Latisse when I became pregnant with Londyn because it's a no-no when pregnant, and like all lash growth serums, your lashes will go back to normal when you stop using them.
I started using Latisse again when I finished nursing Londyn, but honestly, it was kind of a pain to have to get a prescription for it, so I eventually stopped using it and back to short lashes I went.

Okay, so now that all of that is out of the way, we can get to the part you are waiting for.  I just wanted to give you a little history so you know that I have something to compare it to.
So, the magic question....does Lash Boost Work????

Heck yes, it does! And I LOVE it!
I started using the Lash Boost that Allie sent me in October and these are my before and afters with and without mascara.

I would say at the 4 week mark, I started to notice growth, but it was nothing hugely dramatic, so I wanted to wait and do this review after I gave the product ample amount of time to work. Like any lash serum,  you will not see results immediately.  It does take several weeks.
Shortly after 4 weeks, my lashes literally started growing like crazy.  Even my husband noticed and he had no idea I was using the product.

A few things that I LOVE about Lash Boost besides the obvious:
1) you do not need a prescription
2) it does not darken the area you apply it like Latisse did (on me)
3) the applicator makes it so easy to apply
4) My lashes are longer, fuller and darker

I apply it every night before bed and it's literally like you're applying eyeliner.  You just swipe it on your upper lash line every night and that's it.  Once you get the desired length, you don't have to apply it every night, you can apply it 2-3 times a week or so.  (Allie may be better at giving you information about that)

The only con, I would say, is I wish there was a way you could see how much you have left in the tube so you know when to reorder.
But, I've been using mine every night since October and I still have some remaining.

Okay so I am going to give you all of Allie's information, so if you have been wanting to try it and don't already have a consultant, you can order from her or message her with any questions.  The Giveaway information will follow!
P.S. - This would be a great Christmas gift!

Allie David

Giveaway starts today and ends in 2 weeks (December 25, 2017)
Anyone who places an order through Allie's website will be entered to win a
full sized Lip Serum
(value of $56)
Once you place your order, please email Allie your order number and code: LASHBOOSTJACKIE
to be entered.

Allie was sweet enough to send me a few samples of their REDEFINE skin care line as well.  Though I feel like you have to use a product over an extended amount of time to give a detailed review, I will fill you in on my first impressions.

I really liked this a lot, especially the fact that you only leave it on for 2 minutes, because, let's face it, this mama ain't got no time for a 20-minute mask.
Online it states that you use it daily and it helps draw out impurities from your pores while gently exfoliating.

this stuff is sooooooooo good!  I received a few samples of this but it's one of those products that you get instant gratification. My skin looked and felt smoother immediately and my pores were almost invisible. You know that snapchat filter that makes you look flawless.....THIS!

This was another product that I noticed a difference immediately. I am constantly applying some form of chapstick and use a lip treatment before bed.  I can't stand the feeling of dry lips.
This stuff moisturized my lips so well and they stayed that way, even when I woke up!  It is said to visibly smooth lip texture and reduce the appearance of lip wrinkles.

If you have a question about what skincare line would be best for you, just send Allie a message and she will be happy to help you!
The REDEFINE line that I tried is designed to help the appearance of lines, pores and loss of firmness.
They have several skincare lines to help with your specific skin type.

If you have any questions about my personal experience with Lash Boost, let me know!
And a huge thank you to Allie for being kind enough to send me these products and for hosting a giveaway for you all!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Maddyn's 3 Month Update and Favorites

Hey everyone!
I thought it would be fun to share a few updates on Maddyn and Londyn and a few of my favorite baby essentials for the month!
I'm still so shocked that she will be 4 months next week!  The past few months have just flown by!
Londyn absolutely adores her sister, and I love the bond they share already.
Some of Maddyn's firsts this month were laughing (she thinks her sister is hilarious), lots and lots of smiles, 12 full hours of sleep a night (fingers crossed that stays that way), and she can turn herself halfway over.

Designer vs Dupe - Fall Edition

 Hey everyone!
Ahhhh, fall is here! One of my favorite seasons.  Though I am so ready to bust out my fall outfits, this Texas weather isn't quite ready for it just yet!  We are still in the 90's and probably will be for a while!  So until then, I'll be anxiously waiting for that first cool front to come through and sipping on all the pumpkin spice coffee I can get my hands on!

I wanted to do another designer vs. dupe post highlighting all types of fall shoes! From booties, to mules and over the knee boots, I found a ton of dupes that will save you hundreds!  And of course, my favorite place to find designer shoe dupes guessed it... Target!

Mommy Must Haves

Hi, everyone!
I can't believe as I'm writing this, we literally one day away from Maddyn turning 6 weeks old!  I SWEAR it feels like I was just in the hospital last week!
She has brought so much joy and happiness to our little family!  Her big sister ADORES her, and she is just the sweetest little baby girl ever!  I had it in my mind how sweet it was going to be as a big sister, and I can't even begin to explain how full my heart is seeing the love Londyn has for her.

Instagram Lately

Hey, everyone!  It's been a looooong time, I know!
I took a little break from blogging and instagram towards the end of my pregnancy.
Sometimes, you need a little "unplug" from it all, you know!
I was also wanting to spend as much time as possible with Londyn before Maddyn was born so I am definitely happy I focused on that.
Now I feel refreshed and excited about blogging again.  I always want my blog and my social media accounts to reflect me as a person and never want to come across someone I'm not.  As a new blogger, I do get offers to collaborate with brands and honestly, I do turn down a lot.  I never want to represent a company just for the sake of getting free goodies or getting paid to say I love something that I really don't.  That's definitely not why I got into blogging in the first place.
So please know, anytime I have a blog post in collaboration with a company, it's something I truly stand behind.
Not sure how I got off on that tangent BUT I just wanted to let y'all know that I will always stay true to who I am!
With that being said, I figured I was looooong past due for a little instagram roundup!
If you don't follow me on instagram already, you can find me here!
Thanks for stopping by and hope yall have a great one!!

Blue + White Stripes Plus my Summer Time Wishlist

Hey everyone!  It's definitely been a while!  Things have been a little chaotic lately and I'm hoping (fingers crossed) things start to settle down in the next few days!  More on that later!

Anyways!  I was excited when Shein asked me to collaborate with them again.  See my recent collaboration here (btw, I still ADORE that skirt)
I love shopping at Shein for affordable clothes that, in my opinion, are dupes for some designer brands.  Like I said before, you do have to make sure you check the sizing for each item (they do clearly say that) as they tend to run a little smaller.

I fell in love with this button down shirt, because for one....I can't get enough of blue and white stripes this spring/summer and also, I know it will be perfect after pregnancy and easy to nurse in. PLUS, it's only $14!
I ordered a medium so I was able to button it over my belly. It's very easy and lightweight so no worries of it being too hot for summer.

I also have a few items on my wishlist from Shein I wanted to share!!!

1) I LOVE the palm leaf print on this dress.  So perfect for summer and only $14!

2) The tassel hem on this dress  is ADORABLE!  Perfect for the beach!  Only $15

3) How gorgeous is this maxi dress for only $26!

4) Ok, I've been DYING to try this strapless adhesive bra after seeing it all over IG and Facbook!  Has anyone tried it???  Only $13!

5) Definitely getting this top!  It would look soooo cute with distressed cutoffs!  It comes in 5 colors and only $19!

6) THIS palm leaf bikini!  Insert all the heart eyed emojis!  Only$12!

My wishlist could honestly be 100 items long!  haha!  I better stop there!

I'm hoping to get back to my regular schedule on my blog and on Instagram next week!  I can't wait to share everything that's been going on!  So exciting but definitely lots of craziness! haha!

Have a great week everyone!  Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you Shein for sponsoring this post!
As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bows and Stripes + New Blog Design

Hey, everyone!  Okay, so first, can we talk about this top for just a second?!? I LOVE the blue and white stripes, but the bows on the sleeves instantly sold me!  Not to mention, it's non-maternity AND still covers my 30-week bump!

Top // Jeans Maternity Version -  Non-Maternity Version //
Wedges // Bracelets here  here and here //
Sunglasses LOVE

I ordered my regular size in this shirt (small) mainly because my intention was to wear it after the baby is here but to my surprise, it actually still covered my bump completely!  I know I won't be able to wear it my entire pregnancy, but for $35, I HAD to get it before it sold out!  I love it so much and can't wait to wear it with shorts too!
And if you don't have these wedges yet.....GIRRRRRLLLL! Get them! They are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I also have them in this color and style.

These jeans are maternity and I purchased them during black Friday,  and got them at a HUGE discount!  I'm definitely not one to splurge on maternity clothes, but I literally got them over 50% off!  They do have a non-maternity version and don't get me wrong...I LOVE these jeans...but definitely wouldn't have paid full price for a pair I'm going to wear for a short period of time.
Just my opinion on that.

On another note....I spent some time last week completely redesigning my blog!  I liked my old design, but it just didn't feel know!  This design, I'm completely in love with!  I purchase the template here and let me tell you, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking to redesign your blog!  The instructions she includes are so incredibly easy to follow, and I was able to upload everything myself.  She also offers the option to upload everything for you for free if you don't want to tackle it yourself.

I hope you all had a great Mother's Day Weekend!  Being a mom has been such an incredible blessing.  It's definitely not easy, but it's the most rewarding and amazing gift ever.  I can't imagine my life before Londyn, and I can't wait to welcome her baby sister in a few short weeks!  EEEEK!

Have a great week everyone!

Pink Ruffle OTS Top

Hey, loves!  Happy Monday!
Ok, so can we talk about this OTS ruffle top for a minute!?! BTW, I found an almost identical one for half the price here. Not only is any cute non-maternity top that will last you throughout your entire pregnancy a major win in my books, but I love how this top can easily be paired with jeans or with denim shorts and flats to dress it down a bit. Once baby girl is here, I think it will be so cute tucked in the front too.
The back is just as cute as the front and it's super lightweight and breezy for those hot summer days.

I've been obsessed with these shoes too because I've always lovvvved this style, but like I've said before, I'm definitely not a skinny heel kinda girl (especially when pregnant). These are a low wedge making them super comfy and easy to walk in.  They come in several colors too!

This week is marking my 29th whoa! week in pregnancy and the nesting phase has definitely settled in.  We spent a lot of the weekend getting the nursery together and today I plan on tackling the loads of laundry in her room.  Luckily, since we are having another girl, I have a ton of clothes I can reuse from little miss Londyn.  She's too excited to pass down her clothes to her baby sister but that doesn't stop us from picking her out some new things as well!

I hope you have a great week ahead!
