Spring Embroidered Dress/Top

Hey, everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend!  My days have been so confused lately.  My husband is working a crazy schedule right now and just gets one day off a week.  His day off was Saturday so all day Sunday, I thought it was Monday.  Hopefully, just a few more weeks of this crazy schedule and we can get back to normal.

So, temps are definitely feeling Spring Time here in Texas.  We've been having 70 -80-degree weather and I'm loving it!  That just means, come a month or so, it will be so hot you can barely breathe when you walk outside.  With that being said...I'm going to soak this weather in as much as I can!

So I ordered this "dress" and when it came in, I immediately knew it wasn't going to work as a dress.  Bump or no bump, this baby is SHORT!  And I even went a size up so I can grow into it throughout my pregnancy.  But it's sooo cute, I decided to keep it and make it work as a top.
It's so lightweight and breezy, and will be so comfortable come the summer temps.  And I think it will look so cute with shorts!

Spring Fever

OTS Top / Similar Jeans 40% off here  and here / BEST wedges ever.... also got these / Similar clutch (getting this one) here / Similar earrings here and here

Hey, everyone!
How was your weekend!  We had such a great, relaxing weekend.  My husband is about to start a big turnaround at work so he will be working super long hours for the next 20 days, so we spent lots of quality family time together.

I don't know about y'all but I am sooo ready for spring weather to come and stay.  In Texas, we don't really get to experience all the seasons.  We get more of cool, tolerable and scorching temps.   On the positive side....we do get a head start on wearing cute OTS tops like this one while some states are still dealing with snow.  (sorry guys)

And can we talk about these wedges!  Y'ALL!  These are hands down THE most comfortable, easiest to walk in shoes I've EVER owned.  Seriously, it's like walking in flats!  I'm HORRIBLE at walking in heels so when I saw how comfy these were, I also grabbed them in this style.  These sell out like hot cakes so make sure you grab a pair!

I've had this clutch from a couple years ago but I just saw this same style in this adorable black and white pattern that I'm definitely getting my hands on!

Well, I hope you all have a great week!
Thanks so much for stopping by and let me know if you have any questions!

The Black Dress Everyone Needs

/ Monogram Necklace / Watch / Similar Ring here and here / Sunglasses

Hey y'all!  So let me talk a little bit about this (non-maternity) dress!  There is nothing more comfortable than a comfy, stretchy dress pregnant or not.  I love how this one is fitted (especially during my stage of pregnancy now) so it enhances your bump instead of making you look like you ate a little too much.  haha!
It comes in green too and I'm seriously considering picking it up. I know I'm going to get a TON of uses out of it during and after pregnancy.   It can easily be dressed up for date night with some heals or wedges or dressed down with sneakers like I did here.  Either way, it' a must have in my books!
I'm wearing a small for size reference.

Hope you all are having a great week so far!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Simple White Tunic

Tunic / Jeans (similar here) / Similar Booties here here and here /
Necklace / Similar Purse here and here

Hey everyone!  Happy Monday!
So I shop quite a bit at a online boutique called Jess Lea Boutique (she has the CUTEST stuff) and I found this cute tunic that I absolutely adore!  It looks great with jeans and definitely long enough for leggings too!  And bump friendly which is a plus for me right now!  I paired it with one of my favorite necklaces from Baublebar (no joke, I get compliments on it every time I wear it) Anywho, this tunic is so comfy and so easy to dress up or down.  I think it would even be super cute to transition into spring with shorts. And I know you guys see me wearing these jeans ALL the time and that is for 2 reasons.
1) they really are the BEST pair of jeans I've ever owned
2) they are one of the few jeans that still fit comfortably
Mainly number 2 but they really are my absolute favorite pair!

So funny story about these photos.  Usually my husband or myself will take my photos.
(Side Note.... bear with me while I try to get the hang of taking pictures on my own ;) haha!)
These photos were taken with the help of little Londyn.
I had my timer set and she would stand behind the tripod yelling "It's beeping!  Get ready!" hahaha!  Such a big little helper!

So I hope you all have a great beginning of your week and Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

16 Week Pregnancy Update

16 Week Pregnancy Update

Hey everyone!  Since this is my first pregnancy update, I figured I'd fill you in on a few details!  This pregnancy has been a little different from when I was pregnant with Londyn.

For starters, I was never, ever sick with Londyn.  I had the occasional waves of nausea but nothing major.  I still remember with Londyn when Kenny was in the kitchen and opened a back of Chili Cheese Fritos and it immediately brought on a bit of nausea.  I could smell it from the other side of the house.  haha!
Other than that...I was blessed with an extremely easy pregnancy.

Definitely not saying this pregnancy is difficult because I do feel to be on the lucky end.  The first 12 weeks of pregnancy I definitely had all day nausea.  I never threw up (tmi..i know) but at times, I wish I would have to give me a little relief.  Luckily that has passed and we are just truckin' along.  I'm definitely showing a LOT faster this time around than with Londyn!  Kenny and I were comparing pictures the other day and I'm currently about the size I was when I was 20 weeks with Londyn.

We don't know the gender yet...we should be finding out within the next 4 weeks or so.  I always wish I was one to be able to wait but neither Kenny, myself or Londyn have the patience for that.  haha!

Londyn definitely has her heart set on a baby sister.  She's even mentioned that if it's a boy, it's okay because we can just send him back for a sister instead.  haha!  She's coming around to the fact that she could have a baby brother.   Some days she says she wants a baby sister and some days she says she wants a baby brother like her best friend.  It's too cute.  Her excitement of becoming a big sister is priceless.  She's constantly feeling my belly and asking if today is the day she gets to meet her new baby.

This week has been pretty easy.  I don't remember nesting with Londyn until the very last couple of weeks, but this time around I'm constantly cleaning, decluttering, reorganizing, you name it, all day long.
I did feel some little baby flutters last week.  I feel like that's when you really start to feel pregnant.  I loved feeling Londyn moving around all day. Well, except when she decided to do so at 3 am. :)

I have an appointment next week, so next Friday I'll be able to give more details on how baby is doing!

Hope you have an amazing weekend!  It's going to be in the 80's here in Texas, so I'm looking forward to lots of time outside!

Take care and thanks so much for stopping by!

The Perfect Knotted Tee

Top // similar here  and here // White Jeans // Similar here // Shoes //
Choker // Ring //Bracelets //Sunglasses // Similar Purse here here and here

Hey y'all!  Happy Wednesday! So I wanted to share one of my favorite tops that I've been wearing nonstop!  First, let me say that I LOVE tops that have the knot/twist on the side.  The problem I have is that my torso is extreeeeemely long so most of the ones I've purchased hit me a little high and I'm constantly pulling them down all day.  Not cool!
I was hesitant about ordering this one in case I would run into the same problem, BUT it fits perfect!   I love, love the longer length on it so it's perfect for those like me who have a long torso and short little legs.  Haha! And it fits over my growing bump too!   I really like this one too with the cold shoulder and this short sleeved version.

I love shopping at online boutiques like The Mint Julep.  When I picked up this top, I also ordered this one, which I LOVE! What are some of your favorite boutiques so I can check them out too?

Hope y'all have a great rest of your week!  See ya on Friday for my 16 week pregnancy update!  EEEK!

My Forever Valentine + New Blogging Schedule

Hey everyone!  Can y'all believe Valentine's Day is what.....8 days away!  I love, love, love Valentine's Day!  I'm a sucker for flowers, cards, candy...the typical Valentine's Day mushy stuff!  And I love seeing Londyn's eyes light up when her daddy surprises her with her Valentine's Day flowers and presents!  A love that a father and daughter share is so priceless! Even though she's the biggest daddy's girl, she will be my forever Valentine!  Well, her and Kenny ;)

This is what Londyn and I will be sporting this year.  I know you guys have seen me in a TON of Ily Couture shirts because, seriously, they are some of the softest shirts I own!  I love the mom tees and the children's line as well!  So cute!  I'm wearing a medium in this top and it fits perfectly over my growing bump.  And this triple heart necklace from Dainty Layers Jewelry is so perfect!  She has the cutest Etsy shop, so make sure you check it out!

What are your plans for Valentine's Day this year?
