Vacationing in Barbados

Hey y'all!  HAPPY FRIDAY!  So it's been exactly one week now since my husband and I returned from our vacation in Barbados.  It was the most relaxing vacation ever!  No schedule, now worries and living on island time.  The hardest part was being away from our daughter Londyn, but she was in excellent care getting completely spoiled by her grandparents!

We stayed at the beautiful Sandals Barbados resort, and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!  My husband and I honeymooned to St. Lucia and stayed at the Sandals Grande almost 4 years ago. We had such a wonderful experience then, so we knew we wanted to visit more Sandals locations and hope to visit many more in the future.

Most who know me know I HATE flying.  We had to leave for the airport around 2AM, so I stayed up so I would be sooooo tired by the time we got on the plane, I would fall asleep (it worked) haha! This bag was amazing to travel with!  It was large enough to fit a couple bathing suits incase my luggage was lost, and everything else I needed like books, a light jacket, and my neck pillow.  Plus it's reversible and comes in a few color options.
Purse: Target // Jewelry: Monogram Necklace and  Ring // Shirt // Shoes

Our room was amazing!  It came with a stocked bar and fridge, and even had a MASSIVE soaking tub on the balcony.  I was looking forward to ordering room service in the morning but they have 11 (yes eleven) restaurants on site so we definitely wanted to take advantage of trying them all.

The beach was gorgeous and where we spent most of our time.  There's something about crystal clear water and white sand that can just take all your worries away!

This top is by far the most comfortable bikini top I have ever owned in my life!  I hear that Victoria's Secret is doing away with their swimwear (please tell me that's a myth) so I'm thinking I need to grab a few more of these before they are all gone!

Same swimsuit, different print // Same print bikini options: here here here and here

This cover-up was my absolute favorite! It's so cute in the back!  I don't see that Victoria's Secret has it in stock anymore  but this one is similar.  This Beach Bag from Target was PERFECT! It's huge and can fit everything you need for the beach!

We ended our vacation with the most amazing, delicious dinner at Butch's Steakhouse!  I received so many compliments on this dress!  It's so comfortable and feminine and flirty and just perfect!

Well thank you for stopping by and if you have considered taking a trip to Barbados, I definitely recommend it!  Hope you all have an amazing weekend! CHEERS!

  1. It looks like you guys had such a wonderful trip! My husband and I love Sandals as well. We have done Grand Antigua and Royal Bahamian. We are going back to Grand Antigua in January. We would love to try Barbados next. Would love to hear how you thought it compared to St. Lucia.

    1. Antigua is definitely on our to do list! My husband and I both agreed that St Lucia had a better beach but the actual resort in Barbados we liked a little better. how was Antigua? :)
